Now, more than ever, parents and students alike will feel the financial pressure of getting everything they need from their back to school list without breaking the bank doing it. A great Back to School tip is to prioritize your budget to the must-haves all the way to the cheapy pens and paperclips. As any parent of a teenager knows, their child is always begging for the most popular selection in backpacks, ipods, new shoes, or that shiny new laptop. One of my favorite back to school tips is to ask your child to pick one or two items they HAVE GOT to have and then really pinch the pennies with the rest of the stuff like school supplies, paper, a lunchbox, folders and binders, etc. What you'll find is that you can save A LOT of money by compromising with your child, allowing them one or two high-end choices while saving all the money on the lower-end but necessary items. This should prove to be a very effective way to maximize some back to school deals.<<<<

So now that you got the expensive pair of shoes, designer backpack, laptop, or ipod out of the way, now you can concentrate on the rest of your back to school list. First, write down all the things you may need (just like a grocery list). It will save you a lot of time and energy to purchase these back to school items online from one or two websites. Word of advice-- stick to a big office supply or discount store, they should have just about all the things you're looking for and for very competitive prices!
